How to Withdraw Euros via SEPA from Your Raison Account
Updated over a month ago

To withdraw euros from your Raison account using SEPA, follow these steps:

  1. Check compliance status. Before starting, ensure your account is free of pending compliance requests.

  2. The payment must be sent to your bank account - it's name must be the same as that of the account owner in Raison. We are automatically filling this information in the details of payment - so if you'll send to the third-party, receiving bank will reject the incoming payment and the funds will be returned, where additional fees may apply.

  3. To proceed with withdrawal of funds select either Send button on the main screen, then select EUR, or click Cash (list of asset on the main screen) -> EUR. Then select using EU bank transfer and tap Withdraw.

  4. Fill the amount of EUR you wish to withdraw (please be aware of the minimum amount provided to proceed). Ensure you have read the fees for sending funds from your Raison account and click the Next step button. Check the beneficiary's details and enter your bank's IBAN. It is important to notice once again that SEPA transfers are majorly available for EU banks and that your receiving institution should support this method.

  5. Once the withdrawal is sent from Raison, the status of the operation will change to Completed. As we are connected to SEPA-instant rails, the funds usually hit your bank account in minutes, although some banks could have additional checks for the incoming transactions - so the transfer could take more time (2-3 days). You should contact your bank in this case to speed up the process.
